My Drama Land is experiencing a bit of drought again. Most biases have completed their projects, and some are leaving for military services, whereas a couple of them are just taking their sweet honey time reviewing script offers. Meanwhile a few are busy with fan meetings. Damn those fan meet tours. And the good shows are coming to an end one week after another. Aish. Not happy. Not happy at all.
Snap! Here are our 53th Baeksang Art Award winners.
Frankly, it was the most boring Baeksang I had seen. I get bored from time to time watching these award shows because of the language barrier; however, this year’s Baeksang was boredom on a whole new level. It began at the red carpet where not one single star *wow* the floor. The dresses were all a big MEH.
I was contemplating of quitting the live streaming if it were not of Park Bo Gum with his little *BLUR* but cute stunt, and later the three crabs moves. After this, the show did get a little bit more interesting since it was time to announce the Best Actor and Actress awards.
Awww. What a beauuu-ti-ful wedding photo.
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon succeeded something that a lot of Korean dramas have failed to do in their finale i.e. giving us the happiest Happily Ever After ending we can ever hope for. They even outdo Disney’s style happy endings, LMAO, because the show had gone all the way to…
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is really coming to an end, because jtBC has the casts bidding their farewell to us. Nooooo, I’m in no way ready to say goodbye to Bong Bong and Min Min. I reckon Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik have beaten out the Goblin couple and made it to my Top One favourite on-screen couple in 2017. There’s still 8 more months for new couples to rise, we’ll see if there are anymore new couples’ rapport are as powerful as theirs.
jtBC drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon will officially wrap next week. Farewell to our addictive Bong Bong and Min Min, portrayed by Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik respectively. I’ll miss them—lots. Never had I imagine they would make such adorable cute couple, but they did; and I’m happy because they make drama viewing sooo much more enjoyable, especially when the story fail to impress. As if wanting the show to end with a bang, uri CEO Ahn a.k.a Min Min / male lead / ZE:A idol, Park Hyung Sik is wrapping the show up with his last OST. The song can already be heard in this week’s episodes, where the lyrics sounded a lot like Ahn Min Hyuk confessing his undying love and heart for his Bong Soon.
Although I wouldn’t put them in the same rank as Goblin or Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, the drama OST isn’t too shabby.
The vicious cycle starts again with 53th Baeksang Art Awards as they recently release the nomination lists. Almost every year I go on a rampage at the results for South Korea’s Award Shows, but I can’t ignore because I am a sucker for seeing stars dressing up prettily on the red carpet. I love seeing biases or drama couples I adore reunite and appear together for their nominated projects. This year’s Baeksang is as highly anticipated as 2014’s when I was infatuated with You Who Came From the Star.
Let’s take a look at the nominees for this year. I have chosen my winners in light blue, hehe.
I don’t like the beginning of 2017 because it’s so god damn dull, and it’s still god damn dull. *CRY*
Hallelujah. Five more days, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon will premiere on jTBC. The more promotional stills and videos I come across, the stronger my interest is in this drama. This upcoming fantasy romantic comedy stars Park Bo Young (Oh! My Ghost), Park Hyung Sik (Hwarang) and Ji Soo (Fantastic)—no reason to miss because I like all three of them, plus, it’s rom-com and fantasy.
To celebrate jTBC 5th anniversary, ELLE Korea has invited Park Hyung Sik (Hwarang: The Beginning) and Park Bo Young (Oh! My Ghostess) for a photoshoot. The double Park are set to appear as the next new onscreen couple in upcoming drama, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Joining them are Ji Soo (Moon Lover: Scarlet Heart: Ryeo) and Jeon Suk Ho (Misaeng).
