Updated 2016.08.06: Added preview teaser 1
I am beginning to think SBS is at a huge disadvantage with Jealousy Incarnate coming in so late in the game with W: Two Worlds being so mind-bogglingly damn entertaining, and Uncontrollably Fond‘s angsty being ahjumma’s favourite side dishes every week.
With W becoming a new crack drama for me, I am also getting less interested in the plot of this show simply because it did not come off as new or refreshing. This is not to say I won’t be checking it out, which I definitely will because I really like the 3 casts, but it is just difficult to muster an interest at the moment when my brain is so entangled in the parallel worlds of VV (W).
Last week the main stars of this show—Jo Jung Suk, Gong Hyo Jin and Go Kyung Pyo were sent to Thailand for overseas shooting. It is said what was filmed in Thailand will become important scenes for our characters’ lovelines.
Thailand is the place where Pyo Nari (Gong Hyo Jin) and Lee Hwa Shin (Jo Jung Suk) will meet again; it is also the place where it creates the opportunity for Nari and Go Jung Won (Go Kyung Pyo) to become closer. LOL, if the above scene was filmed in Thailand then… poor Kyung Pyo for having to wear such thick suit. We all know what he wore in Youth Over Flowers in Africa, he must be burning on the inside with so many layers on.
Ooooh~ I like the teaser. Looks funny and fun. Jo Jung Suk is soooo good being funny even if he’s not trying that hard, LOL. Is that even a compliment I’m giving him? Hahaha.
It feels almost like Go Kyung Pyo has a make-over if we compare him to all his previous role. I am happy that he gets to display the handsome chaebol* he has never had a chance to play before.
Oh my god, Jo Jung Suk. Who the hell let you wear a shiny purple-blue coat with dotted shirt in the middle of a day? That’s hideous.
*Note: His previous roles had been quirky blonde Il Rak in Naeil’s Cantabile, a gangster in Coin Locker Girl / Chinatown, a soot-faced and scared soldier in Admiral: Roaring Currents and a poor, but sweet mommy’s boy in Answer Me 1988.
