Last night Jo Jung Suk made an appearance as special guest in a talk concert entitled ‘Private Life of a Woman‘ hosted by actress / MC, Park Kyung Rim. I’m not very familiar with Park Kyung Rim, but I do remember seeing her as a regular hostess of a lot of variety shows — she’s funny and is good at hosting.
Jo Jung Suk has recently been very active promoting his upcoming movie, Journalist (also known as Exclusive: Beat the Devil’s Tattoo), and attending this event must be one of his promotion activities. Journalist will host a VIP premiere event at 8 PM on October 14 at Lotte Cinema World Tower; and on that very same day in the afternoon at 2 PM, Park Bo Young with co-stars Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Chun Hee will also have a media screenings event for their movie, Collective Invention.
Journalist will officially be on the big screen on October, 22.
Back to the talk concert, I know for sure the movie is mentioned, having heard him speaking of the title—that much I could tell from the video clips floating around the interweb—I just don’t know what else has been said. Sigh. I have been lazy following up each and every one of his appearances on TV or interviews, since I don’t want to know too much about the movie until I see it myself. However, this one I just CANNOT miss. Why? Simple. He sang the Oh! My Ghost OST — Gimme A Chocolate for the first time on stage.
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH~ I immediately turn into Lady Gaga going ga-ga at his voice and how wonderful he sounds live. He did not sing the full song, but heck, I’m already on Cloud No.9 to at least be able to see and listen to half of the song! ❤
So here it is, live version of GIMME A CHOCOLATE. Let’s go GA-GA with me:
Other than singing Gimme A Chocolate, he also sang a song in a capella named 세상이 그대를 속일지 몰라도 by Kim Jang Hoon. I’m sorry, who??? I apologise again for saying I totally don’t like the original singer’s voice; it hurts my ears. 😦
Then a lucky (female) fan wearing a-humongous-red-ribbon-on-her-head gets to hug, sits next to, and takes pictures with Jo Jung Suk on stage. Well okay, I’m not quite sure if she originally wore that ribbon, but I’m going to glaze over this (not because I am jealous), it’s just that I’m getting goosebumps from the pictures of them sitting on a swing decorated with roses all around. It’s supposed to be romantic, I guess, but BLEURGH… a bit too much for me IMO.
